Today’s guest is Dr Morgaine Gaye, a food futurologist, senior lecturer, researcher and all-round food trend expert.
Don’t worry if you’ve never heard the term food futureologist before – you’re about to learn all about it. I first met Morgaine through my amazing friend Megan who studied under her whilst at Nottingham Trent university.
I remember Meg telling me I would LOVE Morgaine and I did. Morgaine’s enthusiasm when it comes to food, food trends and food marketing is infectious and she is an absolute joy to spend time with.
I love Morgaine’s passion for her job and that she openly admits it doesn’t always feel like a job to her – it’s just her life. We often feel we should have this perfect work/life balance but Morgaine shows how this needn’t always be the case.
I hope you really enjoy this podcast and come away with a new understanding of how other people are already deciding what we will be eating in 5 – 10 years and how biased much of the ‘clean eating research’ can be.
