Shri / Dr. Prafulla Kar (born 16 February 1939) is an Oriya musician, singer, lyricist, writer and columnist. He has received Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award by the Government of India in 2015 for his contribution in the field of arts. Sri Prafulla Kar is one of the most notable figures in the field of music and has created many beautiful and legendary songs in the Odia Music Industry.
