Dr Rebecca Thompson stops by to talk about digging into the science behind our favorite things from "Game of Thrones", be it how dragons breathe fire and can they melt stone and steel, how the Wall was built and stayed standing, the nature of the White Walkers and the wights, gruesome deaths, and so much more.

Rebecca C. Thompson, PhD, is a physicist and author of the popular Spectra series of comic books about physics. She is Head of the Office of Education and Public Outreach at Fermilab, the particle physics research facility near Chicago.
