Dr. Renee was a psycho-oncologist at a children's hospital and was then diagnosed with breast cancer. During her rollercoaster road back to health, she became a competitive bodybuilder to reclaim control over her body. This deepened her understanding of the mind-body connection, which she has developed into a unique practice at the Center. She released a memoir, Chemo Muscles, earlier this year.
