The art of acting involves believing that we can become the characters we see portrayed on screen. But what if we took that same state of being and applied it to our day-to-day lives and how we show up in the world?

This week on HBCU IN ENTERTAINMENT, we want to introduce you to an acting legend who is shaping the next generation of actors by creating opportunities for diversity in theater, Dr. Tonea Stewart.

Dr. Tonea Stewart is a professional actress, play director, national museum exhibit director, tenured Professor, and the former Dean of the College of Visual & Performing Arts at Alabama State University.
