Several years ago, Dr. Trogdon published his research on the economic impact that obesity has in the United States.  One of his most cited works, it was very well received and often referenced by policy makers.  Fast forward to 2013 when the U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments on the legality of the Affordable Care Act, Trog's work was cited by Chief Justice Roberts in his majority opinion.  We sit down over a cold beverage to discuss the research, the case, and the impact it had on Trog's career.
