Vance Ginn, Ph.D., is the Chief Economist at the Texas Public Policy Foundation. Previously, Dr. Ginn served as the Associate Director for Economic Policy of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) at the Executive Office of the President during the Trump Administration. 

Dr. Ginn earned his doctorate in economics at Texas Tech University and has an accomplished career as a policy director and university lecturer with experience in public policy, academia, and government. He gives keynote speeches, appears in major media outlets, publishes papers in top-ranked academic journals, conducts policy research on critical issues, and works to turn papers into policy. Dr. Ginn is committed to preserving Texas as a place where Texans can build their careers, raise their families, and live their lives freely.
