  • How to Connect with Your Spiritual Medical Assistance Team (MAP)

The MAP Medical Assistance Program is an energy healing method you do lying down, working with your own team of healing beings. It started in a garden. Machaelle Small Wright was working with nature spirits on her world famous gardens while her health kept getting worse. Even her chiropractor told her, "We're kind of at the tail end of what I can do for you." So she asked the nature spirits if they could help. They said yeah, and they connected her with the White Brotherhood Medical Unit.Connecting with your MAP team is quite simple. You lie down, open a MAP coning, give your team a quick list of what's going on, and set a timer. The first session is 30 minutes. Don't diagnose yourself and don't keep rambling. It's not a counseling session. They just want you to go to sleep so they can work on you. And you don't have to get every step perfect. The intention is what does the work.Mel read the whole book and then waited over a year to try it. After so many years as a Jehovah's Witness, everything outside that was the devil, and these are beings. The first time, her MAP team knocked her right out. She woke up 30 minutes later, happy. Can you do energy healing for someone who didn't ask? Can the Medical Assistance Program help pets, like a 15-year-old cat who keeps going where he's not supposed to? Can you ask for a heart specialist, or an energetic chiropractor? And what do you give back? Gratitude, mostly. One "I love you" at the end of a session brought her to tears.

  • When “He” Is the Default: Unpacking the Patriarchy We Inherited

How many of our beliefs about men and women did we actually choose—and how many did we simply inherit? In this episode of The Intuitive Wonderland Podcast, Dr. Katie Williams and Melodi Anderson explore the patriarchy and the subtle ways ideas about gender, power, and authority can become woven into our beliefs without us even realizing it.Mel shares personal experiences from her life, including childhood abuse by her stepfather, and reflects on biblical stories and passages that portray women within deeply patriarchal systems. She also recalls standing in a hospital cafeteria line when a male doctor stepped in front of her and announced, “Doctors eat first.” Rather than questioning him, Mel remembers immediately accepting that he was right. Katie asks: Would it have felt the same if the doctor had been a woman? That question opens a larger conversation about the unconscious beliefs both women and men may carry about gender and authority.Katie reflects on another seemingly small example: growing up in a culture where “he” was often the automatic pronoun for an animal, baby, or character whose gender wasn't known. She shares how she's become intentional about creating more balance in the language she uses with her own children.Katie and Mel also explore women in leadership, including Mel's thoughts about what it might mean for the United States to have a woman president and the perceptions of strength and femininity that can influence how female leaders are viewed.Throughout the conversation, they ask a bigger question: How many patriarchal beliefs continue simply because they've become so familiar that we don't recognize them anymore? In this episode:Patriarchy, gender, and powerMel's experience with childhood abuseWomen and patriarchy in biblical storiesUnconscious assumptions about gender and authorityMale-as-default languageRaising children with greater awareness of genderWomen, leadership, and perceptions of strengthQuestioning the beliefs we've inheritedThis episode includes discussion of childhood abuse and gender-based power dynamics that may be difficult for some listeners.

  • Do You Really Believe in Freedom If You Need Me to Agree With You?

What does it actually mean to believe in freedom? In this episode of The Intuitive Wonderland Podcast, Dr. Katie Williams and Mel Anderson explore duality—the existence of seemingly opposing ideas, experiences, and perspectives—and what it can teach us about freedom, autonomy, and our need for other people to see the world the way we do.Katie and Mel consider something deeply human: once people settle into a belief that makes sense of their world, it can feel reassuring when others believe it too. Agreement can create community, belonging, and certainty. But what happens when another person's different choice begins to feel threatening? The conversation moves through religion, artificial intelligence, psychedelics, spirituality, and other areas where deeply held beliefs can quickly divide people into opposing sides.Rather than debating which side is "right," Katie and Mel become curious about why we need sides in the first place. They explore how easily personal conviction can shift into an expectation that other people should believe, behave, or choose the same way—and the tension that creates with the very idea of individual freedom. If someone chooses religion, can we honor that choice without needing to share it?If someone explores psychedelics while another person wants nothing to do with them, can both paths exist? Can someone embrace artificial intelligence while someone else distrusts it?And perhaps most importantly: Can another person's truth exist beside our own without either one having to disappear?Throughout the conversation, Katie and Mel explore the possibility that autonomy asks something more difficult of us than simply demanding the freedom to make our own choices. It asks whether we're willing to extend that same freedom to someone whose choices we don't understand—or even agree with.In this episode:Duality and opposing perspectivesFreedom versus the need for agreementWhy shared beliefs can create feelings of safety and belongingReligion, spirituality, and individual choiceArtificial intelligence and competing perspectives about its role in our livesPsychedelics and personal autonomyWhy people may feel compelled to convince others of their beliefsThe difference between sharing a perspective and needing someone to adopt itAllowing people to have their own journeysWhether true freedom requires making room for choices different from our ownMaybe freedom isn't simply saying, "I get to choose."Maybe the greater challenge is being able to say, "And so do you."Check out our Mexico retreat and sign up for the free master’s class:Kabashmethod.com/return2027

  • When Being Capable Becomes Too Much: Redefining Success for High-Performing Women

To learn more about the RETURN retreat and to sign up for the FREE master class, follow this link: https://kabashmethod.com/return2027/What happens when you're so good at carrying a heavy load that you don't realize how heavy it's become? In this special episode of The Intuitive Wonderland Podcast, Dr. Katie Williams and Mel Anderson welcome fellow retreat facilitator Silvia Suro for a conversation about high-performing women, sustainable success, and what it means to create a life that doesn't require constantly pushing beyond your own capacity.Together, they explore a challenge familiar to many highly capable women: because they can manage careers, relationships, families, responsibilities, goals, and everyone else's needs simultaneously, they often do. The warning signs of overload can be remarkably easy to miss when functioning under pressure has simply become normal. But being capable of carrying something doesn't necessarily mean carrying it is sustainable.Silvia, Katie, and Mel share the philosophy behind their upcoming retreat in the Riviera Maya, Mexico, designed for high-performing women who aren't looking to abandon ambition or success, but to experience those things differently.Rather than prescribing what needs to change, the retreat invites each woman to identify the area of her own life asking for attention. From there, the experience is designed to create space for nervous-system regulation, mental ease, emotional balance, intentional reflection, and practical tools that can be carried back into everyday life. The three also explore an important distinction between taking a vacation and attending a retreat. A vacation can provide a temporary escape from the demands of everyday life. A retreat creates an opportunity to examine the patterns that made the escape feel necessary in the first place—and begin establishing a more sustainable way of living when you return home.Silvia shares a powerful experience from her own life that brought this lesson into focus. During pregnancy, she realized that her identity as a high-performing woman had followed her all the way into preparing for birth. She continued adding tasks to her mental and physical "to-do" list, eventually recognizing that she was energetically holding herself in a state of doing rather than allowing herself to surrender to what was happening. After recognizing the pattern and consciously shifting her intention, her baby arrived within hours. The conversation also introduces Bufo, an optional medicine experience being offered to eligible retreat participants, and discusses how its ceremonial use is intended to complement the retreat's broader themes of surrender, perspective, connection, and transformation.Set across two beautiful resorts in Mexico's Riviera Maya in early February, this experience isn't intended to simply give women a few days away from their lives. It's designed to help them return to those lives differently—with greater awareness of their capacity, clearer intentions, and tools for creating success that is actually sustainable.Katie, Mel, and Silvia also offer a preview of a September master class, where they'll begin exploring these ideas with women before the retreat. In this episode:Why high-performing women may not recognize overload until they've moved well beyond balanceThe difference between capability and sustainable capacityIdentifying the area of life that's asking for attentionNervous-system regulation, mental ease, and emotional balanceWhy a retreat offers something fundamentally different from a vacationSilvia's personal story of surrender, intention, and the birth of her babyCreating success without continually adding moreThe role of intention in changing deeply ingrained patternsThe optional Bufo experience and its place within the retreatWhat if sustainable success isn't about learning how to carry more?Maybe it's about becoming intentional about what you carry at all.

  • Why Are Women Threatened by Other Women: What MDMA Brought to the Surface

Sometimes the things that surface during inner work aren't new—they're threads that have been woven through our lives for years, waiting to be recognized. In this episode of The Intuitive Wonderland Podcast, Mel Anderson opens up about her recent experience with MDMA and the emotions, memories, and patterns that have continued to emerge as she integrates and processes the experience. One particular realization leads Mel and Dr. Katie Williams into a much larger conversation about women, insecurity, jealousy, and the ways women can perceive one another as threats.Mel reflects on a pattern she has encountered throughout her life: being naturally warm, friendly, and outgoing—and sometimes having that friendliness interpreted by other women as flirtation with their partners. Katie shares her own experiences with this dynamic, and together they explore both sides of an experience that may be familiar to many women. What happens when another woman's beauty, confidence, warmth, or sexuality activates insecurity within us? And what happens when a woman learns that simply being herself may cause her to be perceived as threatening?Katie and Mel explore how these experiences can create distance between women, make women less approachable to one another, and interfere with the connection and support that could exist in their place. They also consider the other side of the equation: the very human experience of feeling insecure, protective, jealous, or threatened—and what those feelings might reveal about the person experiencing them. The conversation returns to MDMA and its potential role in therapeutic work. Katie discusses research into MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD and the interest surrounding its use in couples work, where the qualities associated with the MDMA experience may allow partners to approach painful material with greater openness, empathy, and emotional connection.Ultimately, Mel's integration becomes an invitation to look beneath the surface. Rather than simply labeling another woman as jealous, flirtatious, intimidating, or insecure, what might change if women became curious about what is actually being activated within themselves and one another? In this episode:Mel's personal MDMA experience and ongoing integrationWhat can continue to surface after a psychedelic experienceFemale insecurity and jealousyWhen friendliness is mistaken for flirtationBeing perceived as a threat by other womenHow insecurity can interfere with female friendships and connectionLooking at the experience from both sidesMDMA-assisted psychotherapy and PTSDThe potential of MDMA-assisted work with couplesUsing uncomfortable emotions as opportunities for greater self-awarenessThis episode shares personal experiences and discusses emerging areas of psychedelic research. It is intended for informational and conversational purposes and is not medical advice or an endorsement of illegal drug use.

  • Past Lives, Grief & the Souls Who Find Us Again

What if the people—and even the animals—we love remain connected to us in ways that extend far beyond a single lifetime? In this episode of The Intuitive Wonderland Podcast, Dr. Katie Williams and Mel Anderson begin with a conversation about the power of intention, but—as conversations in the Wonderland often do—the discussion takes an unexpected turn.Katie and Mel explore their beliefs and experiences surrounding past lives, reincarnation, and connection with those who have passed. They discuss the possibility that relationships may span multiple lifetimes and consider whether the souls who are important to us might continue finding their way back into our lives in different forms. The conversation then moves into grief and an idea both women have encountered through their spiritual experiences: that profound grief can sometimes make it more difficult to sense a connection with someone who has died. They explore what may happen as the intensity of grief begins to lift and a person becomes more open to noticing signs, synchronicities, intuitive impressions, dreams, or other experiences they interpret as connection with the spirit realm.Katie and Mel also discuss the movie A Dog's Journey, in which a beloved dog lives multiple lives while repeatedly returning to members of the same family. The story becomes a springboard for a larger conversation about reincarnation, soul connections, animals, and the possibility that love and relationships may continue in forms we don't fully understand. From setting intentions in this lifetime to wondering whether we've shared others before, this episode ventures into some of the biggest mysteries of consciousness, loss, love, and what might exist beyond the physical world. In this episode:Setting intentions and directing energy toward what we want to createPast lives and reincarnationGrief and spiritual connection after lossMoving through grief without leaving love behindSigns, synchronicities, and experiences of connectionWhether souls may reconnect across multiple lifetimesAnimals, reincarnation, and A Dog's JourneyThe possibility that our most meaningful relationships extend beyond one lifetimeAs always in the Wonderland, Katie and Mel aren't asking listeners to adopt their beliefs. They're inviting them to remain curious, explore their own experiences, and wonder about the possibilities that may exist beyond what we can see.
