In dieser Episode spricht Dr. Andreas Brinkhoff darüber, wie sich die Supply Chain und IT in der Dr. Wolff Group wandeln, um ein stärkeres Unternehmenswachstum zu ermöglichen. Der Wirtschaftsingenieur und promovierte BWLer ist als Geschäftsführer bei Dr. Wolff seit Herbst 2023 für die Bereiche Supply Chain und IT verantwortlich und hat in der Zeit zahlreiche Veränderungen begleitet. Brinkhoff erklärt die Bedeutung von kontinuierlichen Verbesserungen und wie Dr. Wolff durch Mitarbeiterinitiativen und neue Denkansätze flexibler auf Anforderungen reagieren kann. Er beschreibt in der Folge, welche Prozesse hinterfragt werden, um etwa die Warenverfügbarkeit für internationale Märkte flexibler und schneller zu gestalten oder die Planungskoordination im Unternehmen zu verbessern.
Außerdem verdeutlicht er, wie wichtig es dabei ist, die Produktions-Standorte in ihren Kernkompetenzen zu stärken und damit zum Beispiel die Abläufe in der Produktion von pharmazeutischen und kosmetischen Produkten zu optimieren.
