Sr. Agatha of the Hospital of St. Joseph writes to Mina to tell her that Jonathan is taken ill, and is a patient in their sanitorium in Buda-Pesth, where he will remain for several more weeks. In his illness, Jonathan has raved about many strange and supernatural things, and Mina should avoid exciting him on the subject, less his condition worsen.
