In this episode, we take a look at Dragon and Leviathan in Scripture, History, and Literature. We consider the texts of Genesis 3, Revelation 12, and a number of passages from the Psalms and prophets. Additionally, we consider the morphology or taxonomy of the leviathan, and then look for several meta-themes in the Bible related to these creatures. Towards the end, we consider dragons in pagan and medieval Christian literature. Correction - at one point in the message, I give an incorrect reference to Isaiah 27:1. It is also wrong on the slide shown. With the congregation's help, I figure it out eventually.
