Shane only has a couple of years on the job and while working at his part time department, he found himself in a situation where he could make an impact. While fighting a fire, he was given a report of a victim and in a low manpower scenario asked a Chief Officer if he could do a solo search. He searched and with a little help at the end of the recovery, rescued the person. He now joins us to tell his story and see what lessons we can learn from it. Thank you for listening.
