In this episode we’re speaking with actress and creative arts therapist Rachel Brooks!
Rachel completed her Master of Arts at NYU in Drama Therapy and holds a BFA in Acting from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She is a proud Aquarius, lover of soup dumplings (aren’t you hungry now?), and a certified scuba diver.
In this episode, Rachel lets us in on the myriad of ways therapy can look - from talking to puppets to group grief walks through a cemetery. We talk about Rachel’s movement from acting full time to becoming a drama therapist and how sometimes the big things in our lives, like trauma and grief, can lead us to some of the most meaningful work of our lives.
