Newly-released body cam video shows the moment officers shot a Florida man after he stole one of their tasers and pointed it at them. Just before, the Miami-Dade police officers rescued 29-year-old Jahmal Parker from crashing his car into the lake. In the video, Parker can be seen running off with the taser and ignoring multiple officers' orders. That's when they shot him in the leg. Since then, Parker has been charged with six felonies, one misdemeanor and two driving-related infractions. His next hearing is scheduled for August 23.
Accused boyfriend killer Shayna Hubers appears to be shifting defense tactics, now claiming she shot her lover six times in self-defense when he became angry over her inability to orgasm. Hubers is on trial for killing attorney Ryan Poston, whom she was dating when he was murdered in October 2012. She was convicted in his death but now has a second shot at freedom after it was discovered that a juror during the original trial failed to report a felony conviction. The defense claims Hubers saw Poston moving his arm toward a gun on a table, so Hubers picked it up first and started shooting. She finished the job when she saw him dying and didn't want him to further suffer, according to her attorney.

Court documents say Harris urged a security guard to 'take care of the situation or he would do it himself.' The father saw Armstrong again as he was leaving and instead of driving away, he decided to confront him with punches and kicks. Armstrong was taken to a hospital for treatment but died from his injuries five days later.
