One of the most awesome invitations in Scripture is found in James 4:8 'Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you'. There are no pre-conditions. No requirements. No pre-requisites. There is just the invitation to all of us -- to draw near to God... and the invitation comes with a promise that when we do, He draws near to us. Meaning that God responds to us by our response to Him. {Because of this} We are looking at and learning how to DRAW NEAR to God in unconventional/uncommon, yet practical/tangible ways by studying the Early Church in Acts 2.
