Today I recalled several periods over the past few years where I felt intense, powerful negative feelings about the state of my life, the country, and the future of our world. In this episode I attempt to grapple with the foundational causes of these feelings, how I managed to quell them, and what we might be able to do as a society to address the distressing problems that we face today.
