A lot of us didn’t grow up being told to dream big.

We grew up being told: Be grateful, don’t be greedy, don’t outshine, don’t risk stability, “Mija, get something secure.” And listen  our parents were surviving, but we are in a different era. We are not just surviving, we are allowed to build. And dreaming big isn’t arrogance, it’s alignment. You wanting more? That’s not you being extra, that’s your potential knocking.
