Security Concerns and measures were the main focus, as the security of the Nation continued to face crises by marauding killers who attacked a Church in Owo, Ondo State. Suspected to be armed militia, worshippers who were in Church on a Sunday Morning soon met their end, weeks after passengers were killed and kidnapped in the Abuja – Kaduna train.
Dreamcity hosts, Tobore and Itunu described the incident as unfortunate and urged the security forces to be proactive in carrying out their duty, and hoped there is no deeper plot than the coordinated attacks on citizens of Nigeria. Some safety tips were listed by the hosts, some of which were:
i. Always let people know where you are going and where you are. A lot of people have mysteriously gotten missing, and it was difficult or impossible to find them.
ii. Limiting night movements, these are times when security measures must be taken seriously, this reduces the chances of being either attacked or ambushed by criminals.
iii. People have also been advised to confirm interview addresses before going for interviews, if the interview location is difficult to locate or in an isolated area, go with someone you trust, or do not go at all.
iv. The need to change your locks when you move into a new apartment. So that nobody has access to your property.
These were some of the security tips discussed by the hosts to ensure that citizens are vigilant and stay safe.
