#28: Today we have visual artist Precious Parker joining us. She’s currently in her last year of studying photography and just recently landed an Artist in Residence here in Austin, Texas at the Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve. We talk about her aspirations, the steps she’s taking to reach her goals, how to present yourself and your work, and maybe most important how to be aware of yourself and the space you’re in.

1. Be a teacher’s pet.

3. Take every job and project seriously.
