Edelreudig – A Spontaneous Episode from Szczecin, Poland

This episode of Edelreudig came together quite spontaneously in Szczecin, Poland.
There, I met the owner of a small independent record store who told me he will be closing his shop on October 26, 2024, and is currently looking for a successor.

Later that evening, we recorded a podcast together.
We talked about music, how he started the record store, and why it had always been his lifelong dream. During the conversation, he also shared stories from his previous work in local politics in Poland, where he says he even stood up against the local mafia.

Now, with a heavy heart, he wants to retire.
If no one takes over the shop, he plans to sell his entire vinyl collection — either as a whole or individually — from his home.

A record store in a prime location in Szczecin surely deserves a vinyl enthusiast to continue its story.
