Dr.Emanuele Gatti, Counseling Psychologist and Mindfulness Instructor, in Shenzhen, has been helping people improve their emotional and relational skills for almost 20 years.
I have been following Emanuele’s WeChat Group entitled ‘Mindful Connections closely & one thing I am very impressed with the presence he is establishing in the community and the regular events he is organizing as well as his plans for the future.
In the podcast, Dr.Emanuele talks about his youth growing up in Italy, his values, beliefs, his short term and long term goals in the community and much much more.
Mental illness continues to have a great deal of stigma associated with it despite advances in psychiatry and too often people suffer in silence, in fear and in despair, People can be unsure of the support that is available to them, who to turn to, and who to trust. It can be easy to lose hope and seek solace in unhealthy behaviors and habits that will only exacerbate the problem.
