Drew is an exercise physiologist, diabetes educator, sport scientist and most importantly a happy and healthy guy thriving with type 1 diabetes.

His world shifted when he was first diagnosed, however after making positive changes to the way he lives, eats, moves and approaches life, he can honestly say he’s happier and healthier today than he was before his diagnosis. So in a way you could say that diabetes gave him the gift of health.

Drews background as a health professional and his own personal triumph with managing diabetes has ignited a passion to share everything he knows. He has since set up ‘Drew’s Daily Dose’ an online resource that is much more than a platform about diabetes. It’s a home that inspires, empowers and enables people to thrive with diabetes, rather than simply live with it.

Drew chats to Art and Matilda about how he discovered he has diabetes, the signs and symptoms he had in the lead up, and how he has managed to lead an incredibly healthy life since the diagnosis. We talk all things exercise, why he stepped away from the keto diet, why he maintains a plant based diet, his morning ritual, and of course Dennis, Drews Instafamous rescue dog!
