To that age — 4 to 8 — where kids see and hear everything.

We head to the mid-80s…

Jane & Finch — Driftwood Ave… that high-rise apartment.

Cockroaches as big as baby birds.

The mysterious stairwell.

Goalie pads made of insulation.

From Maple Leaf Gardens to my first real encounters with ignorance and racism… it was all getting absorbed.
