In this episode of "What's Wrong With Our Generations” Vendela and Emily discuss drink addictions and no, not the alcohol kind and l how it differentiates from various generations and how this showcases how different generations go about social interactions and how having drinks can be more than just the basics. They first discuss their parents own personal experience with coffee culture Emily talks about her parents and how it was more related towards work than solely the socialization element. The conversation also follows with her co host explaining how her parents being foreign grew up with the traditional coffee every morning. They discuss baby boomers and how traditional and almost expected having coffee was for them not having various alternatives. They move on to discuss how their own personal experience is with drinking coffee or matcha in which it has evolved into a major socialization and part of many of GenZs’ everyday life. They are passionate about it stating how its what they look forward to everyday and what most people their age spend money on even if to other generations might seem excessive. To shift conversation the co-hosts both try the drinks that they bought and rate their overall experience. They also give recommendations towards some of their “go to” locations in OC and LA. They finish the episode by going over how the different generations perceive this coffee and matcha addictions and give the inside on who they think does “drink addictions” best.
