Professional actor Chris Power popped into the Flame CCR studio to update us 28 months after the 25 March 2017 gas explosion (an "insurance job that went wrong") that wrecked the lives of many local people and severely damaged their homes. Chris and his wife Pauline (Flame team members) are now back in their listed home and Chris reflects on how, as a Christian, he positively felt the Lord's protection through the explosion and the aftermath. Chris has been the public voice of the local residents in the media and has doggedly plodded through the frustrating task of trying to get government, local and national, to do something. Wirral Borough Council are now beginning to admit many procedural mistakes that left the affected people with little support, apart from the magnificent help of local churches and charities.
