A 38-year-old man from Ferntree Gully was arrested after reversing into a police vehicle in Melbourne's CBD at 3:15am. Police had attempted to stop the Kia due to erratic driving, but the driver turned into a dead-end laneway on Latrobe Street and collided with officers as they blocked his escape. Police allege they found false plates and drugs in the vehicle, with two male officers escaping physical injury.
