Dallas Police officer Nick Novello was born in the Bronx, in New York City.

He has been in uniform since 1971, having served in the U.S. Navy for two years, and then in the Amy for eight years. In all, he has four honorable discharges for military service.

Nick is a spokesman for police reform, believing that incarceration is not a remedy for substance abuse, and that the policies in place, have done great harm to the fabric of our Culture, particularly, black and brown America.

Nick’s passion is the Cross of Christ, where God reconciled man to himself, in the person of his Son, Jesus Christ. “I am privileged to be in Prison Ministry, where I share the love of God with those incarcerated. I could not speak, as I do, but for my Lord and Savior. It is his mandate I speak to.”

are a safe house — a place to get off the front lines and seek a reprieve/
respite before jumping back into the battle.
