This episode discusses Suicidal Ideation and Organic/ drug induced psychosis with transitional nurse practitioner Benny. Benny's role is based in the community, acute psychiatric ward and the emergency department. On the episode we talked about drug induced psychosis how patients typical present, what information do mental health clinicians need, we also discussed schedules and sections and the mental health act. Benny talked about suicidial ideation and touched on mens mental health. We also spoke about DBT ( Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) and how they can be used in the process.
