Rated PG-13: Tobacco (composed by nicotine) consumption alters the area of the brain responsible for modulating the processes of motivation, learning, and execution. In addition, this consumption is associated with mental health disorders such as episodes of anxiety, depressive symptoms, decreased sleep and increased wakefulness.

Join Andrea Montiel and Dr. Lorenza Sordo, Upper School Dean of Students, who will be addressing a very important matter on the use of drugs. They will be talking about different types of drugs to become aware of what they are, the consequences for the mind and body for using and abusing them, and to dispel some myths and truths regarding these drugs.
