 “I feel stuck in a rut.” “I play the same ideas over and over, no matter the song.” These are common frustrations for every drummer. In this breakout, we will consider how to develop a robust rhythmic vocabulary through the utilization of the 16th-note grid. By doing so, you will enhance your time-feel, orchestration, and ability to create new groove and fill ideas.
