DRUNK LOGIC

DRUNK LOGIC is a very random podcast, but Erica and Simon are very aware that without some focus, this podcast skews too random to pick up new listeners. In an attempt to find some order and identity, they enlist the help of Google to brainstorm some podcast theme ideas. Erica learns that Simon knows an actual murderer and Simon has to accept that Erica's foul mouth will prevent them from ever having a kid's podcast. 

In this week's episode, Erica and Simon are joined by their first guest, Chef Nathan! They talk about favourite foods, cooking, and how Simon may or may not be a football shirt thief. 

Chef Nathan gives us exclusive insight into what makes the perfect roast potato. Simon asks a lot of incredibly basic questions and Erica cannot understand the desperation of someone asking for a birthday candle in a pile of mashed potatoes. Essentially this is a potato-based episode. Enjoy! 

Erica and Simon discuss their love of football. We discover how Carlos Tevez and Per Mertesacker made Erica fall in love with football in 2010. Simon shares his favourite football moments and Erica has quite a collection of cool football shirts. They’re both getting sucked into Simon’s Football Manager career and the eco appeal of Forest Green Rovers.

Erica and Simon start 2022 with an episode very tenuously based on the festive holidays all about TOYS. Yes a 40 something and proudly 33 year old talk about toys 🧸. We also try our hand at being influencers, try Welsh cider and do our best with a tricky challenge jar. Not to be missed.

The Drunk Logic gang (Erica and Simon) sample a staple, no, an icon of the American dream,  #Twinkies. 

However, we discover that the real reason Erica fled the USA was due to the fact she was embarrassed by the fact she had never (in over 40 years of her life) tried a Twinkie. In this exclusive Erica tries her first Twinkie (so does Simon but he’s from Wales so we don’t really care).

Mental Health. Where do we even begin? Something we all experience but rarely talk about. This week Erica and Simon talk generally about mental health and coping strategies that have helped them in the past and present. They also get a great surprise from one rather well known Tiger.
