It was a pleasure to have our friend and mentor Miranda Ayim back for the second episode of our Ask The Expert Podcast.

An expert at many things, Miranda is a retired pro basketball player, 3x Olympian, certified performance and wellness coach, and founder of Cultivate Co.

In this episode we dive into Miranda's experience growing up playing high-level sports and how she used this experience to start her own company as a performance and wellness coach.

In this special episode, we are joined by Barbara; a registered psychotherapist and the clinical director of Redbird Therapy.

We discuss Redbird Therapy's Kutana Wema Project in partnership with Wema Centre in Kenya.

This amazing program involves (1) a 2-week street outreach and knowledge share program in Mombasa Kenya and (2) an international peer trauma consultation program for people who do not have access to peer support.

DTBY is happy to share that youth from the Wema Centre will be joining us virtually at Youth Inspire Community Day and will be apart of our opening performance in collaboration with ArtHouse Halton.
