Créée en 1904, La Cerisaie est l’ultime pièce d’Anton Tchekhov. C’est l’histoire d’une famille aristocrate qui s’appauvrit. Loubiov, sa fille Anya, et sa fille adoptive Varia, pourrait perdre leur merveilleux domaine, malgré l’aide de Lopakhine. Les personnages restent enfermés dans leur monde jusqu’au drame.
