Dubai's ambitious Dubai Walk Master Plan, approved by HH Sheikh Mohammed, aims to transform the city into a year-round pedestrian-friendly environment by 2026. This involves constructing 3,300 km of new walkways and 110 pedestrian bridges and underways, utilising innovative climate control technologies. Initial projects focus on Al Ras and the Museum of the Future areas, creating walkable routes with enhanced amenities. The initiative is expected to improve residents' quality of life and reduce traffic congestion.
