A rare event happened on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad on October 19, 2019, when DRGW 315, DRGW 463, and CTS 488 led a tripleheaded passenger train up the 4% grade of Cumbres Pass, the first tripleheaded passenger train in 18 years. We were on scene with the camera rolling, find out how we learned about it, how we were able to get there, and what happened on this day!

The Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York, is a must-see location for anyone who enjoys baseball. We were finally able to go in January, 2026, and here we tell all about our visit to the museum.

N Scale Events Group put on a FreeMo-N event in Elk City, OK, in July. This was our first modeling event like this, so join us as we describe how the week went!

One of our shorter programs comes from a single day of chasing. In Iron Horse to the Rodeo, we follow the Denver Post Cheyenne Frontier Days train from Denver to Cheyenne, then hang around Cheyenne until it's time for the Frontier Days train to depart back for Denver. Then, we chase it to Platteville, where we leave it for a pair of freight trains, and learn of the horrific tragedy that ended the day.

In 2026, the United States is celebrating 250 years as a nation. The railroads showed up to celebrate, with many releasing painted locomotives in red/white/blue liveries.
