(Originally recorded 10/2/16) Debuting in 1987 and changing the landscape of syndicated animation forever, the miser with a reluctant heart-of-gold Uncle Scrooge and his three love-able color shaded nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie set the stage for many other beloved Disney animated shows of the late 80s and early 90s. Life is like a hurricane in Duckberg! Caleb leads the Junior Woodchucks through the development of the catchy DuckTales theme song (we know you're already singing it) and it's award winning writer. The cast of characters and the amazing voice actors who played them are highlighted, but it would be impossible to do them justice in this one episode. The feature DuckTales film and video game, and it's subsequent 2013 remastered release, are also dissected, and we all agree that Gizmo Duck is a poor man's unicycle-riding Iron Man... er, Duck.
