When viewing properties I see so many DUMBASS decisions being made by Landlords and I think this is because they are old school and stuck in their ways. Tenants must take responsibility too but there is defo a two way street here.
I also see alot of defects because of these decisions. In this episode I go through how to view a property with building knowledge and also offer some top tips on how to get a better price on your offers.

My name is Dan Hulbert and what I share in my podcast is I practiced. I can back up my information with over 20 years experience in the property and building industries. My journey started on the tools in flipping properties with my Dad. I then went on to maintenance works and multitrade refurbishments. I decided in 2010 to go it alone and set up and run my own building firm and now I support and coordinate property investors refurbishment projects.
There are a lot of moving parts in property and the world is saturated with theory, but what we are craving is practical wisdom.
Since 2014 I have been providing support, guidance and advice for property investors on their HMO refurbishments and small commercial conversions. This support comes in different ways:
