The digital world has become all consuming for our children and it doesn't appear to being doing them any good. Their school days, for over a decade now, are as much taken up with screen time as it is at home and, as a result, they are not learning as much as they had before they were blinded by iPad light. We look at the numbers on how poorly they are performing, why it is so and make modest suggestions on what could be done better, using the example of the few school systems that have not drunk the digital Kool-Aid.
