A dumpster diver’s purpose could be defined like this: That which has been thrown away and deemed useless by one person is rescued, restored, and made useful by another. Some have a knack for seeing value in something other people would just discard. No matter how good or how bad we have been in our past, in comparison to God’s holiness, we all belong in the dumpster… But God, rather than throwing us all out, sees value in each of us and seeks to restore us and rebuild us!
