Dungarvan CBS students have been recognised for their efforts in raising awareness around drunk-driving.

At this year's Waterford Garda Youth Awards, four pupils were awarded the overall Pat Noctor Memorial Award.

Their work involved a crash simulation and collaboration with local emergency services.

Armed with crystal and silverware, the students were delighted to have their work so widely recognised.

Dymphna spoke with the students afterwards for a chat about their research.
