Chris Dunmire is no stranger to the bar business.  As a young man he did all the chores from dock boy to kitchen staff.  It's this breadth of experience that helps him understand what it takes to run a successful bar/grill that customers will want to come to again and again.  He has certainly done that with Dunmires Bar & Grill just East of Brainerd.  We discuss the trend to more specialty drinks and specialty glasses to serve them in!   Thor is foiled by a strange looking Japanese glass and is slightly embarrased by that!  Chris is also owner of the new Rocky Bottom Bar & Grill at the Y in Garrison.  Coming soon will be bands outdoors, better outdoor seating, and more.   Dunmire's is most focused on the quality of their food in the Grill and the friendliness of their staff.  As Chris says,  that's really all you need to provide a place where folks want to return time and time again!
