Dunzo Drones? Maybe Sooner Than You Think

Listen Later

Indian civil aviation authority Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has reportedly approved the hyperlocal delivery platform Dunzo and drone maker Throttle Aerospace Systems’ request to test out autonomous drones.
However, Dunzo and Throttle Aerospace have already been selected and are awaiting signed letters from the concerned authorities, a senior government official told the media house.
In October 2019, Throttle Aerospace System also tied up with SpiceJet’s cargo unit SpiceXpress, who is looking to get into long-range drones.
Under the partnership, Throttle Aerospace will provide drones and conduct the BVLOS experiments on behalf of the SpiceXpress.
According to global market intelligence and advisory firm BIS Research, the Indian drone market is expected to be valued at $885.7 Mn by 2021. | To read full story, visit https://startuparound.com/read/1576742407.0850875/Dunzo-Drones?-Maybe-Sooner-Than-You-Think?ref=audio_experience
