Durham Fire Department is implementing a new quartermaster system, that will help properly clean and dispose of gear and equipment that is dirty or paternally contaminated with harmful cancer causing chemicals. Tony Riggsbee talks with Durham Fire Chief Robert Zoldos about the new system they are putting into place to help prevent the likelihood of cancer for fire fighters.
