Build in Public — February 2026 | Momentum
February reminded me that progress isn’t loud. It’s steady.
In this second chapter of my Build in Public journey to 2030, I reflect on what happens after the excitement of a new year fades and real discipline begins. January created clarity. February created momentum.
Through the lenses of Health, Family, and Impact, this episode shares the lessons, challenges, and small wins shaping both life and business as we continue building intentionally here in Colorado Springs.
On the professional front, our smallest team in years is proving that alignment matters more than size—closing and placing under contract over $10M while continuing to serve clients in a market that rewards creativity, negotiation, and preparation. I also share insights on what sellers and buyers are experiencing right now and why strategy matters more than ever.
Beyond transactions, February brought meaningful community engagement through leadership with the Colorado Springs Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and continued efforts to strengthen the local business ecosystem.
At home, family remains the center of everything—from welcoming the joy our youngest daughter Mila brings to the household, to the annual Daddy-Daughter Dance tradition that reminds me just how quickly time moves.
And on the health front, the discipline continues as I push toward new goals while exploring ways entrepreneurs can rethink wellness and healthcare in a changing world.
This series is about more than business updates. It’s about documenting the journey of building a meaningful life—one month at a time.
If you’re focused on growing, building, and becoming the best version of yourself for the people and communities around you, I invite you to follow along.
The first quarter of 2026 is still unfolding.
