The remix is built around the invocation “Hafta as koruk raz” —“Seven gods guide our path by the star”—, a mantra that evokes sacred stones, prayers to the heavens, and the figure of the shaman raising his hands to the void. Ullrson retains the essential elements of the original—the guttural vocals, the female singing, the ritual percussion, and traditional instruments like the tagelharpa and the gusle—but surrounds them with his own sonic arsenal: nyckelharpa, elderwood flute, brass horn, anvil strikes, and warhorn textures, all underpinned by a much heavier and more expansive techno foundation.
