La cadena NBC es la encargada de los 11 episodios para la comedia de Young Rock, inspirados en la edad más temprana de la Roca y protagonizada por la propia superestrella.

El ex luchador aparecerá en cada capítulo ya que el enfoque y la inspiración estarán en sus años de formación. Estará coescrita por Nahnatchka Khan y su antiguo colaborador Jeff Chiang. Ambos serán productores ejecutivos junto al actor.
