PSALM 27:4a
One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek
 
 
PSALM 27:4b
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life.
 
 
DWELL
:To remain for a time
:To live as a resident
 
 
YASHABH:  To sit down
 
 
DWELLING PLACE
Dwelling in the house of the Lord provides comfort, protection, and rest.
 
 
DWELLING PLACE
Setting our hearts and minds on God influences everything we do.
 
 
PSALM 27:4c
To gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in His temple.
 
 
DWELLING PLACE
Acting according to God's commandments reflects His beauty to the world.
 
 
PSLAMS 27:5
For in the day of trouble He will keep me safe in His dwelling; He will hide me in the shelter of His sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.
 
 
DWELLING PLACE
We are God's temple.
 
 
2 CORINTHIANS 4:6
For God, who said, "let light shine out of darkness," made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God's glory displayed in the face of Christ.
 
 
PSALM 27:8
My heart says of You, "Seek His face!"
Your face, Lord, I will seek.
 
 
MATTHEW 11:28
Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
 
 
REVELATION 21:3
Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them.
