This week’s inspired content (this episode) is the result of my watching BodyCam footage from Law & Crime’s YouTube channel, showing the aftermath of a deadly drunken crash that killed a 16-year-old in Texas, in June 2021. While watching the video, I started to look at the comments and was taken aback by some of the commenters' reactions regarding the 15-year sentencing of 22-year-old Jesus Cruz.
In this episode, I review some of the comments and give my perspective. Also, explore the sentencing and my thoughts on it; how much time is enough time? At the end of it all… I concluded that how much time is enough time…depends. I also noticed that I may be more focused on rehabilitation than punishment. Join me this week as we consider POVs and sentencing, and give honorary mentions for some comments.
