William Butler was born in 1968. He is a writer and director, known for Madhouse (2004), Disney Game On (2012) and My Babysitter the Super Hero (2018)

He was raised on the traveling fair/carnival circuit.

Is the co-owner of Transition Films

Was housemates with Viggo Mortensen and his then-wife Exene Cervenka for five years.

Was a member of the Los Angeles based improv troupe "Theatersports"

Was once a member of the comedy troupe "The Bubalaires"

Was a writer for National Lampoon for four years.

Did design work for Madonna's "The Girlie Show".

Is currently writing directing and producing film and television commercials in Los Angeles, California. [January 2004]

Producing, writing and directing at ABC FAMILY [October 2001]

Holds the distinction of being the only actor killed by three of The Big Four of Horror (Freddy Krueger, Jason Vorhees, Leatherface and Michael Myers) with Michael Myers being the only Horror Icon his character has not been killed by.
