On the penultimate episode of the first season, we welcome Javier Bargas-Avila to the DX Podcast. After having been instrumental in setting up the HCI Institute at the University of Basel, Javier went on to work for Google in Zürich. Despite only being mid-career, Javier has been around long enough to have experienced the birth of the “UX Designer”. He’s mentored scores of students and managers at Google and provides us with some interesting insights (like, for instance, ignoring his own advice towards students).
